Sabhā Parva, Adhyāya 68 — Pāṇḍavānāṃ Vanavāsa-prasthānaḥ; Duḥśāsana-nindā; Pāṇḍava-pratijñāḥ

एतच्छुत्वा महान्‌ नाद: सभ्यानामुदतिष्ठत । विकर्ण शंसमानानां सौबलं चापि निन्दतान्‌,यह सुनकर सभी सभासद विकर्णकी प्रशंसा और सुबलपुत्र शकुनिकी निन्‍्दा करने लगे। उस समय वहाँ बड़ा कोलाहल मच गया

etac chrutvā mahān nādaḥ sabhyānām udatiṣṭhata | vikarṇaṁ śaṁsamānānāṁ saubalaṁ cāpi nindatām ||

ครั้นได้ฟังดังนั้น เสียงอื้ออึงใหญ่ก็เกิดขึ้นในหมู่สมาชิกสภา ต่างพากันสรรเสริญวิกรรณะ และพร้อมกันนั้นก็ตำหนิสุบาลบุตร (ศกุนี) จนท้องพระโรงกึกก้องไปด้วยความโกลาหล
