सभा-पर्व, अध्याय ६१ — द्रौपदी-प्रश्नः, सभाधर्मः, सत्यवचन-नियमः
वैशम्पायन उवाच इत्येवंवादिनं पार्थ प्रहसन्निव सौबल: । जितमित्येव शकुनिर्युधिष्ठिरमभाषत,वैशम्पायनजी कहते हैं-जनमेजय! ऐसी बातें कहते हुए कुन्तीपुत्र युधिष्ठिरसे शकुनिने हँसकर कहा--“इस दाँवको भी मैंने ही जीता”
vaiśampāyana uvāca | ityevaṃ-vādinaṃ pārtha prahasan iva saubalaḥ | jitam ity eva śakunir yudhiṣṭhiram abhāṣata ||
ไวศัมปายนะกล่าวว่า—เมื่อโอรสแห่งปฤถา (ยุธิษฐิระ) กล่าวดังนั้นแล้ว เสาบละ (ศกุนิ) ราวกับหัวเราะเยาะ จึงกล่าวกับยุธิษฐิระว่า “ชนะแล้ว—ใช่! ตานี้ด้วยเราก็ชนะ”
