Educational Q&A

The verse highlights ethical conduct in learning: a ruler devoted to dharma approaches a sage with humility (prāñjali) and seeks knowledge in the company of the virtuous (brothers and foremost Brahmins). Respectful inquiry is presented as the proper path to higher understanding.

After Nārada speaks, Yudhiṣṭhira respectfully responds with folded hands, along with his brothers and assembled Brahmins, requesting a detailed narration about the divine assemblies (divyāḥ sabhāḥ) and their features.
