Escalation of Wagers and Shakuni’s Repeated Declarations of Victory
जगाम तेषां सा रात्रि: पुण्या रतिविहारिणाम् । स्तूयमानाश्व विश्रान्ता: काले निद्रामथात्यजन्
jagāma teṣāṃ sā rātriḥ puṇyā rativihāriṇām | stūyamānāś ca viśrāntāḥ kāle nidrām athātyajan ||
ดังนั้นราตรีอันเป็นมงคลของพวกเขา ผู้เพลิดเพลินในรติวิหารก็ล่วงไป ครั้นถึงยามอรุณ เมื่อได้พักผ่อนเต็มที่และได้ยินคำสรรเสริญจากเหล่าบัณฑิตผู้ขับสดุดีแห่งราชสำนักแล้ว จึงลุกขึ้นละทิ้งนิทรา
