दुर्योधनस्य बलिवर्णनम् — Duryodhana’s Description of Tribute at the Rājasūya
ततः स्थले निपतितो दुर्मना व्रीडितो नृप: । निःश्वसन् विमुखश्चापि परिचक्राम तां सभाम्,तदनन्तर वह स्थलमें ही गिर पड़ा, इससे वह मन-ही-मन दुःखी और लज्जित हो गया तथा वहाँसे हटकर लम्बी साँसें लेता हुआ सभाभवनमें घूमने लगा
tataḥ sthale nipatito durmanā vrīḍito nṛpaḥ | niḥśvasan vimukhaścāpi paricakrāma tāṃ sabhām ||
แล้วพระราชาก็ทรุดลง ณ ที่นั้นเอง; พระทัยจมอยู่ในความทุกข์และความละอาย ถอนพระสุรเสียงเป็นลมหายใจยาว ๆ พลางหันพระพักตร์หลีกเลี่ยง แล้วเสด็จวนไปทั่วท้องพระโรงนั้น
