एवमुक्ते तु भीष्मेण ततः संचुक्रुशुर्न॒पा: । केचिज्जह्ृषिरे तत्र केचिद् भीष्मं॑ जगहिरे,भीष्मके ऐसा कहनेपर बहुत-से राजा कुपित हो उठे। कुछ लोगोंको हर्ष हुआ तथा कुछ भीष्मजीकी निन्दा करने लगे
evam ukte tu bhīṣmeṇa tataḥ sañcukruśur nṛpāḥ | kecij jahṛṣire tatra kecid bhīṣmaṃ jagarhire ||
