बहुश: कथ्यमानानि नरैर्भूय: श्रुतानि मे । जन्मकालसे लेकर अबतक इन बुद्धिमान् श्रीकृष्णके जो-जो चरित्र बहुधा बहुतेरे मनुष्योंद्वारा कहे गये हैं, उन सबको मैंने बार-बार सुना है
bahuśaḥ kathyamānāni narair bhūyaḥ śrutāni me |
ภีษมะกล่าวว่า “เรื่องราวและวีรกรรมของพระศรีกฤษณะผู้ทรงปัญญา ตั้งแต่กาลประสูติเป็นต้นมา ที่ผู้คนมากมายเล่าขานซ้ำแล้วซ้ำเล่า ข้าพเจ้าได้สดับฟังมาแล้วครั้งแล้วครั้งเล่า”
