अर्हणनिर्णयः
Decision on the Highest Honor at the Assembly
केचिद् धर्मार्थकुशला: केचित् तत्र महाव्रता: । रेमिरे कथयन्तश्न सर्वभाष्यविदां वरा:
kechid dharmārthakuśalāḥ kechit tatra mahāvratāḥ | remire kathayantaś ca sarvabhāṣyavidāṁ varāḥ ||
ไวศัมปายนะกล่าวว่า—ในหมู่พวกเขา บางท่านชำนาญยิ่งในการวินิจฉัยเรื่องธรรมะและอรรถะ บางท่านเป็นผู้ทรงมหาวรตะ ดังนั้นบรรดามหาตมะผู้เลิศในหมู่นักอรรถาธิบาย จึงเพลิดเพลินในการสนทนา เล่าเรื่องอันงามและถ้อยคำสั่งสอน ให้ตนเองก็ยินดี และยังทำให้ผู้อื่นยินดีด้วย
