अर्हणनिर्णयः
Decision on the Highest Honor at the Assembly
समेता ब्रह्मभवने देवा देवर्षयस्तथा । कर्मान्तरमुपासन्तो जजल्पुरमितौजस:
vaiśampāyana uvāca | sametā brahmabhavane devā devarṣayas tathā | karmāntaram upāsanto jajalpūr amitaujasaḥ ||
ไวศัมปายนะกล่าวว่า—ในท้องพระโรงทิพย์ของพระพรหม เหล่าเทพและเทวฤๅษีได้มาชุมนุมพร้อมกัน ครั้นมีช่วงว่างระหว่างพิธีกรรมยัญญะเป็นตอน ๆ บรรดาบัณฑิตผู้มีปัญญาเรืองรองหาประมาณมิได้ก็สนทนาโต้แย้งกันอย่างคึกคัก—“ต้องเป็นเช่นนี้”, “ไม่ใช่เช่นนั้น”, “เรื่องนี้เป็นเช่นนี้เอง หาเป็นอย่างอื่นไม่” ด้วยการพิจารณาตามศาสตราเช่นนี้ สถานที่ประกอบยัญญะจึงยิ่งงามสง่า
