Wealth gained through dharmic, lawful means is portrayed as enduring and socially beneficial; it supports sustained giving and stability, unlike wealth obtained through adharma which is morally and practically precarious.
The narrator describes the extraordinary growth of a person’s treasury due to righteous sources of income, emphasizing that the accumulation became so immense it could not be depleted even over centuries of lavish expenditure.
