Adhyāya 31: Rājasūya-samāgama — The Gathering of Kings and the Ordering of Hospitality
अपांगर्भ महासत्त्व जातवेद: सुरेश्वर । देवानां मुखमग्ने त्वं सत्येन विपुनीहि माम्,जलको प्रकट करनेवाले महान् शक्तिसम्पन्न जातवेदा सुरेश्वर अग्निदेव! आप देवताओंके मुख हैं, अपने सत्यके प्रभावसे आप मुझे पवित्र कीजिये
apāṅgarbha mahāsattva jātavedaḥ sureśvara | devānāṃ mukham agne tvaṃ satyena vipunīhi mām ||
สหเทวะกล่าวว่า “ข้าแต่พระอัคนี ผู้ทรงเดชยิ่ง จาตเวทัส ผู้เป็นใหญ่ในหมู่เทพ ท่านคือ ‘ปาก’ ของเหล่าเทวะ ด้วยอานุภาพแห่งสัจจะของท่าน ขอทรงชำระข้าพเจ้าให้บริสุทธิ์เถิด”
