Kṛṣṇasya Khāṇḍavaprasthāt Dvārakā-prayāṇaḥ | Krishna’s Departure for Dvārakā

यात्राकालस्य योग्यानि कर्माणि गरुडथ्वज: । कर्तुकाम: शुचिर्भूत्वा स्नातवान्‌ समलंकृत:,तदनन्तर गरुडध्वज श्रीकृष्णने यात्राकालोचित कर्म करनेके लिये पवित्र हो स्नान करके अलंकार धारण किया

Vaiśampāyana uvāca | yātrākālasya yogyāni karmāṇi garuḍadhvajaḥ | kartukāmaḥ śucirbhūtvā snātavān samalaṅkṛtaḥ ||

ครั้นแล้วศรีกฤษณะผู้มีธงครุฑ ประสงค์จะประกอบกิจอันสมควรแก่กาลแห่งการออกเดินทาง จึงทรงชำระกายให้บริสุทธิ์ สรงสนาน และทรงประดับเครื่องอลังการ
