श्रीकृष्ण उवाच
The verse links devotional remembrance and respectful installation of a divine protective presence in the home with prosperity and well-being, while framing the deity’s role as the removal of destructive forces (Dānavas).
A divine feminine figure speaks of her commission to destroy the Dānavas and describes a household practice—devoutly depicting her on a wall in a youthful form with sons—promising continual increase for the devotee’s household and warning of loss otherwise, while noting she has long been worshipped in the addressed lord’s house.
