तेन शब्देन सम्भ्रान्त: सहसान्तःपुरे जनः । निर्जगाम नरव्याप्र राज्ञा सह परंतप,परंतप नरव्याप्र! बालकके उस रोने-चिल्लानेके शब्दसे रनिवासकी सब स्त्रियाँ घबरा उठीं तथा राजाके साथ सहसा बाहर निकलीं

Transliteration

tena śabdena sambhrāntaḥ sahasāntaḥpure janaḥ | nirjagāma naravyāghra rājñā saha parantapa ||

Translation

ครั้นได้ยินเสียงนั้น ผู้คนในเขตฝ่ายใน—โดยเฉพาะสตรีแห่งราชสำนัก—ต่างตระหนกสับสน; โอ้พยัคฆ์ท่ามนุษย์ โอ้ผู้เผาผลาญศัตรู! พวกเขารีบออกมาพร้อมพระราชา ตอบสนองต่อเสียงร่ำไห้เอะอะของเด็กน้อยนั้น
