अर्जुन उवाच
Arjuna frames action in terms of dharma and public good: removing a tyrannical threat (Jarāsandha) and rescuing oppressed kings, while also enabling a legitimate royal rite (Rājasūya). The ethical emphasis is that political power and ritual success are justified when aligned with protection of others and the removal of adharma.
In the context of planning for Yudhiṣṭhira’s Rājasūya, Arjuna supports the proposal that defeating Jarāsandha is both strategically necessary and morally commendable, because it would free the kings held under Jarāsandha’s domination/captivity and clear the way for the sacrifice.
