श्रुत्वा गुणानहं तस्या: सभाया: पाण्डवर्षभ | दर्शनेप्सुस्तथा राजन्नादित्यमिदमब्लुवम्,पाण्डुकुलभूषण युधिष्ठिर! उस सभाके अलौकिक गुण सुनकर मेरे मनमें उसके दर्शनकी इच्छा जाग उठी और मैंने सूर्यदेवसे कहा--
śrutvā guṇān ahaṃ tasyāḥ sabhāyāḥ pāṇḍavarṣabha | darśanepsus tathā rājann ādityam idam abruvam ||
นารทกล่าวว่า “โอผู้ประเสริฐแห่งปาณฑพ โอพระราชา ครั้นได้ฟังคุณวิเศษอันอัศจรรย์ของสภานั้นแล้ว ความปรารถนาจะได้เห็นก็เกิดขึ้นในใจข้าพเจ้า. ด้วยเหตุนี้ ข้าพเจ้าจึงกล่าวถ้อยคำนี้ต่อพระอาทิตย์ (อาทิตยะ) เพื่อขอโอกาสได้ดวงตาเห็นสภานั้น.”
