Vaiśravaṇa-sabhā-varṇanam
Description of Kubera’s Assembly Hall
धनदं राक्षसाक्षान्ये पिशाचाक्ष॒ उपासते । पारिषदै: परिवृतमुपायान्तं महेश्वरम्
dhanadaṁ rākṣasākṣā anye piśācākṣa upāsate | pāriṣadaiḥ parivṛtam upāyāntaṁ maheśvaram |
นารทกล่าวว่า “แม้รากษสและปีศาจพีศาจะอื่น ๆ ก็ยังบูชาธนท (กุเบร) ผู้ประทานทรัพย์. และเมื่อพระมหेशวร—ผู้เป็นจอมเทพ ผู้ค้ำจุนไตรโลก ผู้มีรูปอเนก เป็นสวามีแห่งอุมา—เสด็จเข้าสู่สภานั้นโดยมีบริวารแวดล้อม กุเบรโอรสแห่งปุลัสตยะ ผู้เป็นเจ้าแห่งขุมทรัพย์ ย่อมก้มเศียรลงแทบพระบาทพระศิวะ รับพระบัญชา แล้วจึงนั่งใกล้พระองค์ นี่คือจารีตประจำของกุเบร. พระศังกร ผู้เป็นสหายของกุเบร บางคราวก็เสด็จมาสู่สภานั้นด้วย”
