त्वद्बुद्ध्या निहते कर्णे हता गोविन्द सर्वथा । “गोविन्द! भीष्म

tvadbuddhyā nihate karṇe hatā govinda sarvathā |

สัญชัยกล่าวว่า “โอ้ โควินทะ เมื่อกรรณะถูกสังหารด้วยปัญญาชี้นำของท่าน ข้าพเจ้าถือว่าเสมือนทุกคนถูกสังหารแล้ว—ภีษมะ โทฺรณะ กรรณะ กฤปาจารย์มหาตมะแห่งวงศ์โคตมะ และวีรชนอีกมากผู้ตามหลังพวกเขา เพราะวันนี้ เมื่อกรรณะล้มลง คำปรึกษาของท่านได้นำความสิ้นสุดมาสู่กำลังศึกทั้งมวลนั้น”
