Transliteration

pratāpya senām āmitrīṁ dīptaiḥ śaragabhastibhiḥ | balinārjunakālena nīto 'staṁ karṇabhāskaraḥ ||

Translation

ครั้นแผดเผากองทัพศัตรูด้วยรัศมีอันโชติช่วงในรูปห่าลูกศรแล้ว กรรณะผู้ดุจสุริยะก็ถูกอรชุนผู้เกรียงไกร—ประหนึ่งกาลเวลาเองในสนามรบ—ขับให้ลับลงสู่ยามอัสดง
