अशेत निशित: पत्री समरेष्वरिसूदन: । भीष्मद्रोणमुखान्‌ वीरान्‌ योडवमन्ये महारथान्‌

Transliteration

aśeta niśitaḥ patrī samareṣv arisūdanaḥ | bhīṣmadroṇamukhān vīrān yodham anye mahārathān ||

Translation

ไวศัมปายนะกล่าวว่า—ในสนามรบ ลูกศรปีกคมอันเป็นผู้สังหารศัตรูนั้นนอนอยู่ ณ ที่นั้น; มันได้โค่นวีรบุรุษผู้ยิ่งใหญ่ ทั้งภีษมะและโทรณะเป็นต้น ตลอดจนมหารถีอื่น ๆ ด้วย
