अध्याय ९ — कर्णस्य प्रहारः, योधयुग्मनियोजनम्, शैनेय-कैकेययोर्युद्धविन्यासः

नावशेषं प्रपश्यामि सूतपुत्रे हते युधि

nāvaśeṣaṃ prapaśyāmi sūtaputre hate yudhi

“เมื่อบุตรแห่งสารถีถูกสังหารในสนามรบแล้ว เรามิได้เห็นความหวังใดหลงเหลืออยู่เลย”
