शशाड्कसूर्याविव मेघनि:स्वनै- विरिजतुस्तौ पुरषर्षभौ तदा | दोनों दलोंमें होती हुई मृदंग
śaśāṅka-sūryāv iva megha-niḥsvanaiḥ virajatuḥ tau puruṣarṣabhau tadā |
สัญชัยกล่าวว่า ท่ามกลางเสียงกลองศึก—มฤทังคะ เภรี ปณวะ และอานกะ—ที่กึกก้องดุจเสียงคำรามของเมฆ สองนรश्रेष्ठนั้นเปล่งสิงหนาทอันเกรียงไกร ครั้นในขณะนั้น ทั้งสองก็ส่องประกายดุจจันทราและสุริยะที่ผุดขึ้นพร้อมกันท่ามกลางเสียงครืนครั่นของเมฆ
