तदायस्तमनुष्याश्वमुदीर्णवरवारणम्‌ । पुत्राणां ते महासैन्यं समरौत्सीद्‌ धनंजयम्‌

Transliteration

tadāyastamanuṣyāśvam udīrṇavaravāraṇam | putrāṇāṁ te mahāsainyaṁ samarautsīd dhanaṁjayam ||

Translation

ครานั้นทั้งคนและม้าล้วนเหนื่อยล้า และช้างศึกชั้นเลิศก็ปั่นป่วนคลุ้มคลั่ง; ข้าแต่พระราชา กองทัพมหึมาของพระโอรสทั้งหลายก็กรูกระหน่ำเข้าประชิดธนัญชัย (อรชุน) ท่ามกลางศึก
