विसृज्य सूतपुत्रस्य सेनां भारत सायकै: । प्राहिणोन्मृत्युलोकाय परवीरान्‌ धनंजय:

Transliteration

visṛjya sūtaputrasya senāṃ bhārata sāyakaiḥ | prāhiṇon mṛtyulokāya paravīrān dhanaṃjayaḥ ||

Translation

สัญชัยกล่าวว่า—ข้าแต่พระราชา! ธนัญชัย (อรชุน) ละกองทัพของบุตรสารถีไว้ แล้วหันการโจมตีไปยังทิศอื่น ด้วยศรของตน เขาส่งวีรชนฝ่ายตรงข้ามจำนวนมากไปสู่แดนแห่งความตาย (ยมโลก) เพื่อกอบกู้พวกพ้องของตนที่กำลังถูกกระแสศึกกดดันอย่างหนัก
