तत्र युद्ध महच्चासीत् क्रूरं विशसनं महत् | तथैव पाण्डवा: शूरा धृष्टद्युम्मशिखण्डिनौ
tatra yuddha mahac cāsīt krūraṁ viśasanaṁ mahat | tathaiva pāṇḍavāḥ śūrā dhṛṣṭadyummāśikhaṇḍinau ||
สัญชัยกล่าวว่า: ณ ที่นั้นได้เกิดศึกใหญ่—โหดร้าย ทำลายล้าง เป็นการสังหารอันมหึมา. และในสนามเดียวกันนั้น เหล่าวีรชนฝ่ายปาณฑพก็ยืนหยัดอยู่ด้วย—พร้อมด้วยธฤษฏทยุมนะและศิขัณฑิน
