कर्णनिधनवृत्तान्तनिवेदनम् | Reporting Karṇa’s Fall to Yudhiṣṭhira

अथ दस्युभयात्‌ केचित्‌ तदा तद्‌ वनमाविशन्‌ | तत्रापि दस्यव: क्रुद्धास्तानमार्गन्त यत्नतः,एक दिनकी बात है, कुछ लोग लुटेरोंके भयसे छिपनेके लिये उस वनमें घुस गये; परंतु वे लुटेरे कुपित हो वहाँ भी उन लोगोंका यत्नपूर्वक अनुसंधान करने लगे

atha dasyubhayāt kecit tadā tad vanam āviśan | tatrāpi dasyavaḥ kruddhās tān amārganta yatnataḥ ||

ครั้นแล้ว ด้วยความหวาดกลัวโจรป่า คนบางพวกจึงเข้าไปในป่านั้นเพื่อหลบซ่อน; แต่แม้ที่นั่น พวกดัสยุผู้โกรธเกรี้ยวก็ยังเพียรพยายามสืบค้นพวกเขาอย่างไม่ลดละ

The verse highlights a moral contrast: fear may force ordinary people into risky refuge, but unchecked anger and predatory intent make wrongdoers persistent.
