कर्णस्य सेनापत्याभिषेकः | Karṇa’s Consecration as Commander-in-Chief
संजय उवाच कुन्तयो युधि विक्रान्ता महासत्त्वा महाबला: । सानुबन्धा: सहामात्या गाज़ेयेन निपातिता:,संजयने कहा--राजन्! अत्यन्त धीर, महान् बलवान् और पराक्रमी जो कुन्तिभोजदेशके योद्धा थे, उन्हें गंगानन्दन भीष्मने मन्त्रियों तथा सगे-सम्बन्धियोंसहित मार गिराया
sañjaya uvāca: kuntayo yudhi vikrāntā mahāsattvā mahābalāḥ | sānubandhāḥ sahāmātyā gāṅgeyena nipātitāḥ ||
สัญชัยกล่าวว่า “ข้าแต่พระราชา เหล่านักรบแห่งแคว้นกุนติภোজ ผู้กล้าหาญในศึก มีจิตใจยิ่งใหญ่และกำลังมหาศาล—พร้อมผู้ติดตาม พวกพ้อง และอำมาตย์—ถูกภีษมะโอรสแห่งคงคาสังหารให้ล้มลง”
