sañjaya uvāca | tataḥ punaḥ samājagmurbhītāḥ kuru-sṛñjayāḥ | yudhiṣṭhira-mukhāḥ pārthāḥ sūta-putra-mukhā vayam |
สัญชัยกล่าวว่า—ข้าแต่พระราชา ครั้นแล้วเหล่ากุรุและศฤญชัยผู้กล้าหาญก็ไม่ครั่นคร้าม เข้าประชิดและปะทะกันอีกครั้ง ฝ่ายหนึ่งคือบุตรแห่งปาณฑุ นำโดยยุธิษฐิระ อีกฝ่ายคือพวกเรา นำโดยบุตรสารถี คือกรรณะ ดังนี้ศึกจึงอุบัติขึ้นใหม่ด้วยใจอันแน่วแน่
