वर्तमाने तथा रौद्रे राजन् वीरवरक्षये । उत्थितान्यगणेयानि कबन्धानि समन्ततः,राजन! जब बड़े-बड़े वीरोंका विनाश करनेवाला वह भीषण संग्राम हो रहा था, उस समय चारों ओर असंख्य कबन्ध खड़े दिखायी देते थे
vartamāne tathā raudre rājan vīravarakṣaye | utthitāny agaṇeyāni kabandhāni samantataḥ ||
สัญชัยกล่าวว่า—ข้าแต่พระราชา เมื่อศึกอันดุร้ายซึ่งคร่าชีวิตวีรชนชั้นยอดกำลังคุกรุ่นอยู่ ก็เห็นกบันธะ (ลำตัวไร้ศีรษะ) นับไม่ถ้วนผุดลุกขึ้นยืนอยู่รอบด้าน
