संजय उवाच तथा ब्रुवन्तं परुषं कर्णो मद्राधिपं तदा । परुषं द्विगुणं भूय: प्रोवाचाप्रियदर्शनम्
sañjaya uvāca tathā bruvantaṃ paruṣaṃ karṇo madrādhipaṃ tadā | paruṣaṃ dviguṇaṃ bhūyaḥ provācāpriyadarśanam ||
สัญชัยกล่าวว่า “ข้าแต่พระราชา เมื่อศัลยะเจ้าแห่งมทรกล่าวถ้อยคำอันแข็งกร้าวเช่นนั้น กรรณะก็โกรธจนสีหน้าหม่นหมอง แล้วตอบกลับด้วยวาจาที่แข็งกร้าวยิ่งกว่าเดิมเป็นทวีคูณ”
संजय उवाच
