Adhyāya 41 — Kṛṣṇa’s Battlefield Briefing and the Renewal of the Great Engagement
ऊरुप्रभेदाच्च महान् बभूव शरीरतो मे घनशोणितौघ: । गुरोर्भयाच्चापि न चेलिवानहं ततो विबुद्धों ददृशे स विप्र:,'जाँघमें घाव हो जानेके कारण मेरे शरीरसे गाढ़े रक्तका महान् प्रवाह बह चला; परंतु गुरुके जागनेके भयसे मैं तनिक भी विचलित नहीं हुआ। तत्पश्चात् जब गुरुजी जागे, तब उन्होंने यह सब कुछ देखा
ūruprabhedāc ca mahān babhūva śarīrato me ghanaśoṇitaughaḥ | guror bhayāc cāpi na celivān ahaṃ tato vibuddho dadṛśe sa vipraḥ ||
สัญชัยกล่าวว่า “เพราะต้นขาถูกเจาะ เลือดข้นก็ไหลทะลักจากกายข้าเป็นสายใหญ่ แต่ด้วยเกรงว่าอาจารย์จะตื่น ข้าจึงไม่ขยับแม้แต่น้อย ครั้นอาจารย์ตื่นขึ้น พราหมณ์ผู้นั้นก็ได้เห็นเหตุทั้งปวง”
