कर्णेन युधिष्ठिरानीकविदारणम् / Karṇa’s Breach of Yudhiṣṭhira’s Battle-Line
ततो भूयोअब्रवीद् देवो देवानिन्द्रपुरोगमान्
tato bhūyo ’bravīd devo devān indrapurogāmān | tataḥ mahādevaḥ punar indra-ādi-devatābhyaḥ uvāca—“śāyad etān daityān na mārayeyuḥ” iti matvā yuṣmābhiḥ kathaṃcid api śoko na kartavyaḥ | yūyaṃ asurān etena bāṇena “mṛtān eva” manyadhvam ||
แล้วองค์เทพตรัสกับเหล่าเทพผู้มีอินทราเป็นผู้นำอีกครั้งว่า “อย่าได้โศกเศร้าเลยด้วยคิดว่า ‘บางทีพวกไทตยะเหล่านี้อาจไม่ถูกสังหาร’ จงถือว่าอสูรทั้งหลายถูกศรนี้สังหารแล้วเถิด”
