कर्णेन युधिष्ठिरानीकविदारणम् / Karṇa’s Breach of Yudhiṣṭhira’s Battle-Line
सर्वलोकस्य तेजांसि दृष्टवैकस्थानि मारिष । युक्त निवेदयामासुर्देवास्तस्मै महात्मने
sarvalokasya tejāṁsi dṛṣṭvaiksthāni māriṣa | yuktaṁ nivedayāmāsur devās tasmai mahātmane ||
โอ้มาริษ เมื่อเหล่าเทพเห็นรัศมีแห่งสรรพโลกมารวมอยู่ ณ ที่เดียว ก็พากันพิศวง แล้วจึงทูลแจ้งแด่มหาตมะผู้นั้นโดยสมควรว่า “ราชรถสำเร็จพร้อมแล้ว”
दुर्योधन उवाच
The verse highlights how extraordinary power (tejas) evokes reverence even among the gods, and it underscores the ethic of proper, respectful communication (nivedana) toward a superior being—power is to be approached with humility and order.
Duryodhana narrates that the gods, amazed at a chariot whose construction seemed to concentrate the radiance of the whole world, approach the great-souled Mahādeva and formally report that the chariot has been prepared.
