Śalya’s Objection to Sārathya and Duryodhana’s Conciliation (शल्यमन्यु-प्रशमनम् / Sārathyāṅgīkāra)

प्रोत्सारितजने तस्मिन्‌ कर्णपाण्डवयो: शरैः । अविध्येतां महात्मानावन्योन्यं शरवृष्टिभि:,कर्ण और नकुलके बाणोंद्वारा जब सब लोग वहाँसे दूर हटा दिये गये, तब वे दोनों महामनस्वी वीर अपने बाणोंकी वर्षासे एक-दूसरेको चोट पहुँचाने लगे

protsāritajane tasmin karṇa-pāṇḍavayoḥ śaraiḥ | avidhyetāṃ mahātmānāv anyonyaṃ śaravarṣṭibhiḥ ||

ครั้นผู้คนรอบข้างถูกศรของกรรณะและปาณฑพ (นกุล) ขับให้ถอยห่างจากบริเวณนั้นแล้ว วีรบุรุษผู้ยิ่งใหญ่ทั้งสองก็เริ่มประหัตประหารกันด้วยห่าศรอันหนาแน่น
