कल्प्यतां नागमुख्यानां रथानां च वरूथिनाम् | संनहातां नराणां च वाजिनां च विशाम्पते
sañjaya uvāca | kalpyatāṃ nāgamukhyānāṃ rathānāṃ ca varūthinām | saṃnahātāṃ narāṇāṃ ca vājīnāṃ ca viśāmpate prajānātha |
สัญชัยกล่าวว่า “ข้าแต่ผู้เป็นเจ้าแห่งไพร่ฟ้า ช้างศึกชั้นยอดกำลังถูกจัดเตรียม รถศึกที่มีเครื่องกำบังกำลังถูกแต่งพร้อม ชายฉกรรจ์สวมเกราะเข้าประจำ และม้าศึกกำลังถูกผูกเทียม ครั้นแล้วเสียงอึกทึกแห่งการเตรียมรบและเสียงร้องเรียกของนักรบก็ก้องกังวานสูงขึ้นไปถึงเวหา”
