एवमेतन्महाव्यूहं व्यूह्ू भारत पाण्डवा: । तावकाश्न महेष्वासा युद्धायैव मनो वधु:,भरतनन्दन! इस प्रकार इस महाव्यूहकी रचना करके पाण्डवों तथा आपके महाधनुर्धरोंने युद्धमें ही मन लगाया
evam etan mahāvyūhaṃ vyūhya bhārata pāṇḍavāḥ | tāvakāś ca maheṣvāsā yuddhāyaiva mano daduḥ bharatanandana ||
โอ ผู้สืบสายภารตะ! ครั้นจัดกระบวนทัพอันใหญ่ยิ่งนี้แล้ว ทั้งฝ่ายปาณฑพและเหล่านักธนูผู้ยิ่งใหญ่ฝ่ายท่าน ต่างตั้งจิตไว้เพื่อศึกสงครามเท่านั้น
