नानाशस्त्रपुरोवातो द्विपाश्वरथसंवृतः । गदाविद्युन्महारौद्र: संग्रामजलदो महान्
nānaśastrapurovāto dvipāśvarathasaṁvṛtaḥ | gadāvidyunmahāraudraḥ saṅgrāmajalado mahān |
สัญชัยกล่าวว่า—สนามรบนั้นแลดูประหนึ่งเมฆพายุแห่งสงครามอันมหึมา อัดแน่นด้วยช้าง ม้า และรถศึก อาวุธนานาประการพุ่งกรูไปดุจลมบูรพาพัดแรง และกระบองศึกก็วาบวับดั่งสายฟ้า เมฆสงครามนั้นน่าสะพรึงยิ่งนัก ถูกขับเคลื่อนโดยโทรณาจารย์ประหนึ่งลมพายุ แล้วโปรยสายฝนแห่งศรเป็นพันเป็นหมื่นสายลงเหนือกองทัพปาณฑพจากทุกทิศ—ร้อนแรงดุจเปลวเพลิง
