चापैश्न विविधैश्छिन्नै: शक्‍्त्यृष्टिप्रासकम्पनै: । विविधैश्वायुधैश्वान्यै: संवृता भूरशो भत

Transliteration

cāpaiś ca vividhaiś chinnaiḥ śaktyṛṣṭiprāsakampanaiḥ | vividhaiś cāyudhaiś cānyaiḥ saṃvṛtā bhūr aśobhat ||

Translation

สัญชัยกล่าวว่า—พื้นดิน ณ ที่นั้นส่องประกาย ถูกปกคลุมด้วยคันธนูที่ถูกตัดหักนานาชนิด พร้อมด้วยศักติ ฤษฏิ ปราส กัมปนะ และอาวุธอื่น ๆ อีกมากมาย ความอุดมล้นหลามนั้นเองคือความโอ่อ่าที่น่าสะพรึงของสนามรบ—ภาพแห่งความสูญเปล่าของสงคราม ที่ซึ่งความกล้าหาญและฝีมือมิได้ลงเอยด้วยความกลมกลืน หากลงเอยด้วยผืนดินที่เกลื่อนกลาดด้วยเครื่องมือแห่งความรุนแรงอันแตกหัก
