तस्मिन् महति संग्रामे तादृशे भैरवे पुन: । महान् व्यतिकरो घोर: सेनयो: समपद्यत,फिर तो उस भयंकर एवं महान संग्राममें दोनों सेनाओंका अत्यन्त भयंकर सम्मिश्रण हो गया
tasmin mahati saṅgrāme tādṛśe bhairave punaḥ | mahān vyatikaro ghoraḥ senayoḥ samapadyata ||
สัญชัยกล่าวว่า—ในศึกใหญ่ที่น่าสะพรึงนั้น อีกครั้งหนึ่งได้เกิดการปะปนปะทะอันใหญ่หลวงและน่าหวาดหวั่นระหว่างสองกองทัพ
संजय उवाच
The verse highlights how war naturally collapses clear boundaries into confusion and entanglement; ethically, it underscores the peril of violence, where discernment and restraint are hardest to maintain and dharma becomes difficult to uphold amid collective frenzy.
Sanjaya reports to Dhṛtarāṣṭra that, in the ongoing fierce Kurukṣetra battle, the opposing forces again surged into one another, producing a terrifying, close-quarters mêlée in which the two armies became thoroughly mixed.
