मध्याल्वे सुमहारौद्र: संग्राम: समपद्यत । लोकक्षयकरो राजंस्तन्मे निगदत: शृणु
madhyāhne sumahāraudraḥ saṅgrāmaḥ samapadyata | lokakṣayakaro rājan tan me nigadataḥ śṛṇu, rājan ||
ข้าแต่พระราชา ครั้นถึงยามเที่ยง สงครามอันดุเดือดน่าสะพรึงกลัวก็อุบัติขึ้น เป็นเหตุแห่งความพินาศแก่ผู้กล้าทั้งโลก ขอพระองค์ทรงสดับเถิด ข้าจะกล่าวบรรยายตามที่เป็นมา
