एकी भूता: सुसंयत्ता: कौरवाणां महाचमूम् । व्यूहाय विदधू राजन् पाण्डवान् प्रति दंशिता:
ekībhūtāḥ susaṁyattāḥ kauravāṇāṁ mahācamūm | vyūhāya vidadhu rājann pāṇḍavān prati daṁśitāḥ ||
สัญชัยกล่าวว่า—ข้าแต่พระราชา เหล่ากุรุทั้งปวงรวมเป็นหนึ่งและพร้อมสรรพ ถืออาวุธเพื่อเผชิญหน้าปาณฑพ แล้วเริ่มจัดกองทัพอันไพศาลให้เป็นกระบวนยุทธ์
संजय उवाच
The verse highlights deliberate agency in war: when leaders unite, arm themselves, and systematically arrange forces, the conflict becomes a consciously chosen act. This intensifies ethical accountability—organization and readiness are not morally neutral when directed toward adharma-driven hostility.
Sañjaya reports to King Dhṛtarāṣṭra that the Kauravas, united and prepared, are arranging their large army into a formal battle-formation (vyūha) to fight the Pāṇḍavas.
