क्षुभ्यमाणे बले तूर्ण सागरप्रतिमे तव । प्रत्युद्याते च गाड़ेये त्वरितं विजयं प्रति,आपकी समुद्र-जैसी विशाल वाहिनीमें तुरंत ही हलचल मच गयी। उस समय गंगानन्दन भीष्मने शीघ्रतापूर्वक अर्जुनपर आक्रमण किया

Transliteration

sañjaya uvāca |

kṣubhyamāṇe bale tūrṇaṃ sāgarapratime tava |

pratyudyāte ca gāḍheye tvaritaṃ vijayaṃ prati ||

Translation

เมื่อกองทัพของพระองค์อันกว้างใหญ่ดุจมหาสมุทรปั่นป่วนขึ้นโดยฉับพลัน ครั้นการปะทะอันดุเดือดเริ่มขึ้น บุตรแห่งคงคา คือภีษมะ ก็เร่งรุดมุ่งสู่ชัยชนะและเข้าจู่โจมอรชุน
