सूर्यवर्णैश्न निस्त्रिंशी: पात्यमानानि सर्वशः । दिक्षु सर्वास्वदृश्यन्त शरीराणि शिरांसि च,सूर्यके समान चमकीले खड्गोंसे सब ओर काटकर गिराये जानेवाले शरीर और मस्तक सम्पूर्ण दिशाओंमें दृष्टिगोचर हो रहे थे
sūryavarṇaiś ca nistriṁśaiḥ pātyamānāni sarvaśaḥ | dikṣu sarvāsv adṛśyanta śarīrāṇi śirāṁsi ca ||
ด้วยดาบที่ส่องประกายดุจดวงอาทิตย์ ผู้คนถูกฟันล้มลงทุกด้าน; ในทุกทิศปรากฏทั้งร่างกายและศีรษะที่ขาดกระเด็นให้เห็น
संजय उवाच
