एष लोकान् ससर्जादौ देवांश्न ऋषिभि: सह । निधन चैव मृत्युं च प्रजानां प्रभवाप्ययौ,इन्होंने ही सर्गके आरम्भमें सम्पूर्ण लोकों तथा ऋषियोंसहित देवताओंकी रचना की थी। ये ही प्रलयके अधिष्ठान और मृत्युस्वरूप हैं। प्रजाकी उत्पत्ति और विनाश इन्हींसे होते हैं
eṣa lokān sasarjādau devāṁś ca ṛṣibhiḥ saha | nidhanaṁ caiva mṛtyuṁ ca prajānāṁ prabhavāpyayau ||
ในปฐมกาลแห่งการสร้างสรรค์ พระองค์ทรงบังเกิดโลกทั้งปวง พร้อมด้วยเหล่าเทวะและฤๅษีทั้งหลาย พระองค์เองเป็นฐานแห่งปรลัยและเป็นรูปแห่งความตาย; การเกิดและการดับสูญของสรรพสัตว์ทั้งมวลย่อมมีจากพระองค์
