[दाक्षिणात्य अधिक पाठका १ श्लोक मिलाकर कुल ४२ “लोक हैं।] ऑपन-मा बछ। अफि्-"ऋण सप्तषष्टितमो<ध्याय: भगवान् श्रीकृष्णकी महिमा दुर्योधन उवाच वासुदेवो महद् भूतं सर्वलोकेषु कथ्यते । तस्यागमं प्रतिष्ठां च ज्ञातुमिच्छे पितामह,दुर्योधनने पूछा--पितामह! वासुदेव श्रीकृष्णको सम्पूर्ण लोकोंमें महान् बताया जाता है; अतः मैं उनकी उत्पत्ति और स्थितिके विषयमें जानना चाहता हूँ
duryodhana uvāca | vāsudevo mahad bhūtaṃ sarvalokeṣu kathyate | tasyāgamaṃ pratiṣṭhāṃ ca jñātum icche pitāmaha ||
ทุรโยธนะกล่าวว่า “ปิตามหะ! พระวาสุเทวะ (ศรีกฤษณะ) ถูกกล่าวขานในสรรพโลกว่าเป็นมหาสัตตะอันยิ่งใหญ่และอัศจรรย์ ดังนั้นข้าพเจ้าปรารถนาจะทราบการอุบัติ (การมาถึง) และหลักฐานแห่งความยิ่งใหญ่ที่ทรงสถิตมั่นของพระองค์”
