भीष्मस्य भीमसेन-निरोधः
Bhīṣma checks Bhīmasena; matched engagements intensify
तेनावध्या रणे पार्था जययुक्ताश्च पार्थिव । तव पुत्रा दुरात्मान: पापेष्वभिरता: सदा
tenāvadhyā raṇe pārthā jayayuktāś ca pārthiva | tava putrā durātmānaḥ pāpeṣv abhiratāḥ sadā ||
สัญชัยกล่าวว่า “เพราะฉะนั้น ข้าแต่พระราชา บุตรแห่งปฤถาเป็นผู้มิอาจพิชิตได้ในสนามรบ และยืนมั่นอยู่ฝ่ายชัยชนะเสมอ; แต่โอรสของพระองค์มีจิตคิดร้าย ยินดีในทางบาปอยู่เนืองนิตย์”
