भीष्मपर्व — अध्याय ६२: वासुदेवमहात्म्यप्रशंसा (देव–ब्रह्मसंवादः)
तत्र सौबलका: क्रुद्धा वार्ष्णेयस्य रथोत्तमम् । तिलशभ्रिच्छिदु: क्रोधाच्छस्त्रै्नानाविधैर्युधि
tatra saubalakāḥ kruddhā vārṣṇeyasya rathottamam | tilaśaḥ chiduḥ krodhāc chastrair nānāvidhair yudhi ||
สัญชัยกล่าวว่า—ณ ที่นั้น บุตรทั้งหลายของสุบาละเดือดดาลด้วยโทสะ ในท่ามกลางยุทธภูมิได้ใช้อาวุธนานาชนิดสับทำลายราชรถอันยอดเยี่ยมของวารษเณยะ (สาตยกิ) ให้แตกเป็นชิ้นเล็กชิ้นน้อยด้วยความพิโรธ
