श्वित॑ प्रति महाराज व्यसूजत् सायकान् बहून् तानावार्य रणे श्वेतों भीष्मस्य रथिनां वर:
Śvetaḥ prati mahārāja vyasūjat sāyakān bahūn; tān āvārya raṇe Śveto Bhīṣmasya rathināṁ varaḥ.
ข้าแต่มหาราช ศรเป็นอันมากถูกยิงไปยังศเวตะ; แต่ในสมรภูมิ ศเวตะผู้เป็นยอดแห่งนักรบรถศึกฝ่ายภีษมะ ได้สกัดกั้นศรเหล่านั้นไว้
