गौरुडव्यूह-रचना तथा अर्धचन्द्र-प्रत्यव्यूह
Garuḍa Array and the Ardhacandra Counter-Formation
बलेन चतुरड्रेण गाड्रेयमन्वपालयन् । राजा दुर्योधनकी यह बात सुनकर सब महारथी बड़ी उतावलीके साथ वहाँ आये और चतुरंगिणी सेनाद्वारा गंगानन्दन भीष्मकी रक्षा करने लगे ।।
sañjaya uvāca | balena caturaṅgreṇa gāṅgeyam anvapālayan | bāhlīkaḥ kṛtavarmā ca śalaḥ śalyaś ca bhārata ||
สัญชัยกล่าวว่า “ด้วยกำลังแห่งกองทัพสี่เหล่า พวกเขาคุ้มกันและพิทักษ์ภีษมะ โอรสแห่งคงคา โอ้ภารตะ บาหลีกะ กฤตวรมะ ศละ และศัลยะ (ก็อยู่ในหมู่ผู้เข้ามา) เพื่อป้องกันปิตามหะ”
