Garuḍa Array and the Ardhacandra Counter-Formation
अपयातास्तथा पश्चाद् विभुं पश्याम धृष्णव: । शरपातमततिक्रम्य कुरव: कुरुनन्दन
sañjaya uvāca | apayātās tathā paścād vibhuṁ paśyāma dhṛṣṇavaḥ | śarapātam atatikramya kuravaḥ kurunandana | jighāṁsantaṁ yudhāṁ śreṣṭha tadā āsīt tumulaṁ mahat |
สัญชัยกล่าวว่า “ต่อมา โอ กุรุนันทนะ! เหล่านักรบกุรุผู้ห้าวหาญรุกคืบอีกครั้ง ฝ่าห่าลูกศรโดยไม่ถอย ขณะที่เราจับตาดูผู้ทรงฤทธิ์นั้น พวกเขามุ่งหมายจะสังหารภีษมะ ผู้เป็นยอดแห่งนักรบ จึงกรูกันเข้าจู่โจม; ณ ขณะนั้น ศึกใหญ่ที่อื้ออึงตึงตังก็ปะทุขึ้น”
